Float Health, a healthcare startup on a mission to bring all non-hospital care to patients’ homes, proudly announces its acceptance into the prestigious Y Combinator Winter 2022 Batch. This milestone comes on the heels of Float’s successful launch in August 2021 and its rapid expansion from San Diego into Orange County, California.
Since its inception, Float Health has been committed to revolutionizing healthcare delivery by moving routine care out of hospitals and into the comfort of patients’ homes. This model makes routine care for patients with chronic conditions safer, easier, and more cost effective. Currently serving patients in San Diego and Orange County, Float Health facilitates dozens of visits per month, providing essential services such as home infusions, injections, and testing.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Float Health has also stepped up to support COVID-positive patients, recognizing that in-home care not only benefits patients but also helps reduce exposure risks associated with hospital visits.
